How to deal with bubbles inside hot melt adhesive?
Many customers have reported that when using a hot melt glue gun, bubbles are generated after inserting and melting the hot melt glue stick. Normally, the melted hot melt glue stick should not produce bubbles. What is the reason for this?
From the perspective of the hot melt adhesive stick itself, it is possible that moisture entered the stick during production, causing the hot melt adhesive liquid to be viscous during use, resulting in the formation of water bubbles; Secondly, it may be due to the presence of other substances in the hot melt adhesive gun, which may cause a chemical reaction with the hot melt adhesive; It is also possible that air entered the delivery port while using the hot melt adhesive stick, causing foaming.
After the bubbles have formed, it is best to directly contact the supplier of the hot melt adhesive stick while ensuring that it is not a problem with the machine itself; At the same time, it should be reminded that when using the hot melt glue gun, it is necessary to ensure that the inside of the hot melt glue gun is clean and free of impurities, especially at the muzzle. If the muzzle is detachable, it is recommended to clean it yourself to ensure that there will be no chemical reaction with other residual substances when using the hot melt glue stick.
